Sofia Ribeiro, raised in São Paulo, Brazil, is a producer and assistant director. She graduated from the film production program at California State University, Northridge, and is currently a producing fellow in ColorCreative's Find Your People Program. Sofia has experience in various media, including feature films, short films, music videos, and commercials. Additionally, she has worked at Sony Pictures Entertainment in both the Features Physical Production and Television Post Production departments.

 

Her projects have been featured and nominated at various festivals, including the PBS Fine Cut Film Festival, the Burbank International Film Festival, and the Glendale International Film Festival, among others.
 

Sofia is passionate about sharing impactful stories that can change someone's day and even their perspective on life. As a producer, she strives to enhance the representation of Latinx communities and other minority groups within these narratives.
